Eco Tour and Snorkeling Adventure
Victoria is home to amazing marine life, and we want you to see it! Our tour starts at Pearson College where we give you a taste of the students that monitor the Race Rocks Ecological Reserve. We then head to Race Rocks and give you a tour of the area, complete with countless seals and sea lions.
Due to strong currents and unpredictable sea lion behaviour we take you to the West Shore where we give a brief overview of snorkeling techniques. Once you are in the water you will see colourful vegetation and many varieties of fish, crabs and anemones.. Our vessel is easy to get on and off of, and is partly covered for poor weather and we often see whales, orca, dolphins and more while we are in the area.
What a great way to spend a summer day right here in Victoria!
We also have 2 paddleboards if participants want to try something a little different.
Due to Covid-19 and social distancing, capacity on our vessels is very limited. If you have a group that would like to go, please email us. If you are interested in going out soon, email us with potential date options and we can see if we can get a trip out.
Please note: Wind may impact snorkeling and tour location.
Each snorkeling session consists of a an hour boat ride and tour, 1-1.5 hour snorkel and 20-30 minute return to the marina.
