Drysuit Diver

Victoria has cold water.  You don't want to miss what Victoria has to offer though!!  Learn to dive a drysuit - these invaluable skills will allow you to fully appreciate the beauty that cold water diving has to offer!

In fact, certain dive shops around the world require proof of a dry-suit specialty certification before they can rent a drysuit to you.

This specialty course is designed to develop the student divers knowledge of drysuit diving and to help develop their skills and confidence to safely operate a drysuit.  

Option 1 (you have no experience in a drysuit):

• 1 Pool Dive
• 2 Open Water shore Dives
• Basic Equipment Provided: BCD, Reg, Tanks, Weights, Exposure Suit, Fins, Gloves, Hood, Computer.
• Divers must rent or supply: Mask, Snorkel, Fleece, Knife. 
• Rental Packages are available

Specialty Certification Requires Two Dives, minimum students required is 2.
$500 +GST

We may be able to offer a drysuit orientation in the ocean, followed by 2 ocean dives under certain conditions.  Please call for more info. 
Maximum two divers per instructor.

Use this option if:

• You completed your 4 open water dives in a drysuit (during your open water course) Within a year

or

• You completed a drysuit dive during your Advanced course:

• 1 Open Water Dive - completed by shore.
• Basic Equipment Provided: BCD, Reg, Tanks, Weights, Exposure Suit, Fins, Gloves, Hood, Computer. 
• Divers must rent or supply: Mask, Snorkel, Fleece, Compass, Knife. 
• Rental Packages are available 

Specialty Certification Requires one Dives
$300 +GST
