**Buying previously loved gear is a great way to reduce the cost of your dive kit as well as help reduce the amount of still usable product that ends up in the landfill.
​It's a win-win for us and the environment!
Buying used equipment from us has its advantages:
  • We ensure all items are in working order before changing hands
  • If you have problems, bring back to us, we'll sort it out
  • You know it is trusted equipment - if we trust it for our students, it must be ok for you. 
  • If you don't plan on using it locally, talk to us - another option may be better suited to you and your needs
  • Other local divers are familiar with it, and know how to use it - Since many were trained in that same equipment
  • You know it can be serviced locally.  A lot of used equipment is difficult or can't be serviced in Victoria.
  • You are still supporting your local dive store
Rockfish Divers sell off the vast majority of our rental equipment once it has been in circulation for a year or two.  
Regulators, Drysuits, Scuba Cylinders and BCD's are all serviced before being sold.   
If you are interested in our used rental gear, just stop in or give us a shout since sizes and availability may vary dramatically day to day.

Pricing varies grately depending on condition and age

  • Used BCD's: $250+
  • Used Regulators (with current service): 1st stage, 2 second stages, computer (some) and a gauge: $900+ The vast majority of our regs our less than 2 years old.
  • Used Cylinders: Aluminum 80, Steel 80, or Steel 100 with current hydro test and visual inspection:  $300+
  • Used Cold Water Fins: $50-$200
  • Used Wet & Dry Boots: $50-$140
  • Used 5mm, 5 finger gloves: $30-$110
  • Used Drysuit Hoods: $60-$130
  • Used Drysuits: $900+
  • ​Wetsuits $100-$500
  • Mask and Snorkel sets $50-$150
