Wreck/Nitrox Diver
BC is home to many fantastic Wreck Dives. The Wreck/Nitrox Specialty gives you the skills to safely enter underwater wrecks and use nitrox.
The course involves one evening of class work that addresses the issues behind wreck diving and the knowledge that is required to safely use nitrox.
Once the first evening is completed, you'll do two dives at the Mystery Barge in Deep Cove. You'll practice finning techniques, buoyancy, reel work and more.
On the second day, you'll do 2 dives on the HMCS McKenzie and the GB Church - both on Nitrox. These dives are boat dives and one of the dives may include the penetration of a wreck (condition dependent).
Specialty Certification Requires four Dives
Cost is $499 +GST including 2 nitrox dives, all educational materials, certifications and 2 boat dives.

- Basic Equipment Provided: BCD, Reg, Tanks, Weights, Exposure Suit.
- Divers must rent or supply: Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Gloves, Hood, Computer, Fleece (if required), knife, light and backup light.
