Dive Challenge: Weekly Challenge

We'll announce a new weekly challenge each week throughout Dive Challenge for everyone to participate in and earn points. Check out the 2017 weekly challenges below.
Weekly Challenge 4: Clothing and Food Drive
2 Points: Per non-perishable and non-expired food item brought into Rockfish Divers. All items will contribute to one big food donation to Our Place Society at the end of Dive Challenge (please be considerate - a box of granola bars does not count as 6 individual items).
4 Points: Per clothing item in clean and resalable condition brought into Rockfish Divers that will contribute to one big clothing donation for Big Brothers and Big Sisters (Victoria Chapter) at the end of Dive Challenge (please note that the following items are acceptable: Men's, Women's and Children's Clothing, Clothing Accessories (Hats, Wallets, Purses, Shoes & Boots, Bedding & Linens (Sheets, Blankets, Towels, Small Household Mats, Tablecloths, Dishtowels), and Other Cloth Items (Sewing Fabric, Cushions, Wool, Curtains and Drapes). Items will be accepted until closing at 6pm on March 31, 2017 Weekly Challenge 3: Colouring Contest
Weekly Challenge 2: Underwater Geo Cache

Divers will receive 2 points for each fishing lure and golf ball safely collected during any dive that takes place in the first week of Dive Challenge (March 1-7, 2017). All collected lures and golf balls must be brought to Rockfish Divers by 6pm on March 7th along with your logbook signed by a buddy to confirm when and where the items were collected and to count towards your overall points. Divers will continue to receive 1 point per golf ball and fishing lure throughout the rest of Dive Challenge, which must be received by Rockfish divers by 6pm on March 31, 2017 to add towards the final point tally at the end of the competition.
The details on how many lures and golf balls were collected will be submitted to Project AWARE as part of the marine debris cataloged during Dive Challenge. |

Rockfish Dive Community

One of the most important parts of Rockfish Divers is the community building with us. It's one thing to train people to dive, and another to provide them with equipment to dive. However, without a dive community, we wouldn't be able to create more opportunities to dive, gather, share, make a difference and expand on the knowledge we have already.
